An enthusiastic group of members who enjoy wine and are keen to improve their knowledge in a 'not too serious' way.

Members take it in turn to host meetings in their own homes. Outside tastings and vineyard visits may be arranged.

When a visit is arranged the cost is shared among members.

The hosting member chooses 4 wines representative of a type of wine, or locality/country or method of production and prepares a simple information

sheet to assist the tasting.

The host also provides a modest accompaniment, for example, a simple ploughman's lunch.

The cost of the wine and food is met by the host.

It is envisaged that a member will only host once a year.
