Our small, friendly and diverse group in which members take it in turns to lead a discussion on a topical subject of their choice.

To enhance the discussion we encourage the speaker to share knowledge of the chosen subject prior to the meeting.

A typical session will have a speaker deliver his or her presentation for one hour (more or less) and our discussion follows. This formula allows for informed, structured debate (although we did once fall into gossip about last night’s TV!).

We meet from 2 to 4pm at a member’s home.

Tea and biscuits are provided at a small charge.
